Blackford, has announced a new partnership with Coreline, a company specializing in AI solutions for lung cancer screening. Together, they aim to make Coreline’s AVIEW solutions for thoracic CT scans more accessible to healthcare professionals through the Blackford Platform.
Blackford’s platform already offers a wide range of AI tools designed to help healthcare professionals improve clinical accuracy and efficiency. By integrating Coreline’s technology, Blackford hopes to enhance its ability to support the detection and diagnosis of lung and cardiac diseases.
Ben Panter, Founder and CEO of Blackford, sees this collaboration as a positive step forward, saying, “Coreline’s solutions for lung and cardiac health are a valuable addition to our platform. This partnership allows us to provide healthcare professionals with more advanced tools to help diagnose and prevent diseases like lung cancer and COPD.”
Coreline’s AVIEW solutions have already proven effective in clinical settings, with several case studies highlighting their ability to detect diseases early. Coreline’s work in the healthcare industry, especially in large-scale projects, positions them as a key player in improving patient outcomes through better diagnostics.
One of Coreline’s main offerings, AVIEW LCS, is designed to help radiologists identify and assess pulmonary nodules early, when lung cancer is still treatable. AVIEW COPD offers insights into conditions like emphysema, helping doctors understand the progression of COPD. AVIEW CAC provides accurate scoring of calcium deposits, which is important for assessing cardiovascular risk and guiding preventive care.
These tools are available together in a bundle called AVIEW LCS Plus, which is one of the few products on the market that can analyze lung nodules, COPD, and coronary artery calcification from a single scan. This comprehensive approach gives doctors a more complete picture of a patient’s lung health and any related risks.
AVIEW Lung Texture, another tool in the lineup, focuses on identifying patterns related to interstitial lung diseases (ILD) by analyzing different lung textures in CT scans. This helps clinicians detect and classify diseases like emphysema and other lung conditions earlier and more accurately.
Jason Suh, Overseas Business Director of Coreline, expressed optimism about the partnership, stating, “Working with Blackford is an important step in our goal to improve diagnostic imaging. Their experience in healthcare software aligns well with our mission to provide AI-enhanced tools that help doctors make quicker, more informed decisions.”
